Getting started
To fish in lake Bolmen you need a fishing card.
The easiest way to obtain a fishing card is to get in tough with one of our fishing card
sales representatives. Addresses and contact details can be found in the tables further
down on this page. We provide a numer of different types of cards depending on if you
are only here for the day or might want to bring the whole family to enjoy a fishing experience together.
Fishing card online & SMS-text messaging
Now you are able to purchase a fishing card with a duration of 24 hours or 7 days.
Goto iFiske.se to find out more. A 24 hour card costs 75 kr och 7 days costs 250 kr. You may pay using VISA/Mastercard.

Fishing from land
You may fish from land if you don’t have access to a bout, at selected locations we have fishing bridges where you can fish from and that are more easily accessible if you have some kind of disability.
Fishing regulations
In order to fish in lake Bolmen, a personal fishing license is required. The license allows you to engage in recreational fishing in the lake and is valid for a limited time. The Swedish right of public access (”allemansrätten”) does not include fishing in this lake, and any illegal fishing may be punished with fines or imprisonment.
Please buy a license on the Internet through the website www.iFiske.se or from any of our dealers located around the lake. For non-Swedish telephony subscriptions, you can not buy a fishing license by using the SMS service.
